Glutinous rice tea is made by mixing the leaves of a wild plant called “glutinous rice fragrance” into Yunnan large- tea. This is a forest-covered herbaceous plant, about 30 cm high, with branches and twigs covered with green leaves like mint, about the size a fingernail, with a strong fragrance of glutinous rice. The Dai people pick it, dry it in the sun, and store it at home. When drinking they put a few pieces into a teacup, and after drinking, they feel refreshed.
